Ahlo slid through a narrow gap between two icy boulders of The Peaks. The sun was out, but the sparkling rays covering the walls of the mountain did not seem to reach her, so it was quite chilly where she was.
She glanced around the scene and fluffed out her fur as much as possible, trying to keep warm. Hopefully she wouldn't run into someone out here. Ahlo came here quite frequently and hadn't seen anyone yet, but you never know. The only spot where she had spotted other tigers was at the tippy top of The Peaks...but she didn't know if any polar bears or wolves lived around here. Ahlo wasn't ready for a battle if one came her way.
Crouching down, she lept upon a rock several feet higher than she, and landed with a loud thud from her big feet. Some snow that had settled on the edge of the boulder toppled to the ground as she stabled herself.
The tigress padded to the center of the flattened but rough surface and lay down in a few inches of snow. This was her 'out of reality spot'. Since Ahlo had no other commitments, not many friends, and overall not much to do, she made the long hike up here every day, and sat down on the same rock. She would think of everything except things that were real. Kind of like putting everything true aside, and just calming her mind down.
She twisted so that she lay down on her side and stared at the long climb up the mountain. Ahlo couldn't see, nor scent a thing, for the winds were whistling and the flurries overhead blinded her.
For the first time in a long while, Ahlo didn't know what to think about besides the real world. Everything was changing so fast with The Silent War settling down. But everyone was still on their toes, and seemed to jump whenever anyone moved. It was hard to adjust too, and how could she not think about it?
Ahlo sighed and turned her head so she looked down. She must have climbed at least four hundred feet...but that was just her guess. And The Peaks itself were...oh who knows? A couple thousand feet or so? She wasn't even halfway to the top. Ahlo couldn't imagine living at the cold tops with the other tigers. Actually, she couldn't imagine living with tigers at all.
Blinking, she then closed her eyes. If she couldn't think about her dreams while she was conscious, maybe she could avoid reality for a bit by sleeping through it...

Burnt-orange tigress padded around and around and around the mountain, getting dizzy as she went but, there was nothing else to do. Maybe I'll be able to find a small cave that no one else can find and I can stay, far, far away from everybody...Hidden...
Her only thoughts were grim in a way, thinking no one would ever even want to see her, whom would have that taunting her would make her this way? It was strange to think about, how animals could be so different, but still treat those less fortunent so grimly, it would be as though they were exactly the same though extremely different.
A sigh was released from her maw as she found an opening in the mountain. Ears flicked, trying to knock the snow out and hear though all she heard were the roaring winds of a storm, and al she saw were the ice daggers called hail. The only scent she could in hail was that of herself and what wasn't blown past before she could inhale, normally things she couldn't Identify.
This is where I belong, in this icey doom, without a sense that can help me, not even common. Though a sad thought, it would be true until the storm passed and left her weak and hungry 'as she belonged' or atleast she thought.
I'm like the snow that I've walked past and on so many times...Being stepped on and pushed around until I melt, or in this case die...Nobody wants me any more...Not even the humans...My pelt is too ugly for their hostil pelts. Soon, she lie their, under a boulder, not noticing the other tigress less then 15 feet above her.

Ahlo, also unaware of the other tiger somewhere below her, had her eyes shut as tight as possible, trying to block out all of her senses: closing her eyes, plugging her ears, closing her mouth. Maybe, maybe just for a little bit, I can escape the real world by blocking it out. Just to take a break from everything thats happening. The white tiger knew that ignoring problems wouldn't help, but it was for good measure. She couldn't stress herself out, or she'd go insane.
Sunshine, rivers, valleys, prey...friendly neighbors... She thought to herself, listing the things she desperately wanted. Ahlo couldn't ask for much. I mean, she wasn't the one to be picky at all. Warmth, water, shelter, food, and other nice animals was all she really cared about. A friend or two would be useful as well.
She let out a little short breath and caught a whiff of something she hadn't smelt before. Ahlo opened one eye, and looked around with a peculiar expression upon her face. Surely, surely, no animal was around here? Who in the right mind would want to be here anyway? Had another tiger from the mountain tips come down? No. The smell was coming from below her...but it was definitely a tiger. Maybe traveling up to the tiger city above? Possibly.
This couldn't be good. Meeting others was never good. It would start out pretty normal, exchanging greetings and such. But then she would either drone out, mention something funny, or do something odd like she did naturally. Then the other would get creeped out, and slowly make an excuse to go... She hated when that happened.
Maybe this time, Ahlo could try her hardest to act normal, and they could be friends! But she was looking at the bright side. What if this tiger was hostile? She had to take that into view. One couldn't just walk up to another and say Will you be my friend!? right of the blue.
She sighed. Variables really sucked. Ahlo didn't want to think about all of that stuff. Maybe the best thing to do would be to simply wait and see if this tiger would come to her. Otherwise, she should leave her alone, and that was final.

Tigress stared into the snow, looking at it as though her problems would met away with it when the flakes touched the warmth of her coat. A sigh was released from her maw as she soon began looking up, catching the faint scent of another creature, a tiger of course though, she wasn't sure of the gender.
Soon, she began backing up, wanting to leave the cave. Most likely I'm not welcome... I never am....Though, as her tail touched the storm, she decided to just back into the corner and 'become a snowball'.
Burnt orange peltage was soon covered in snow by her plan, rolling in it. Femme soon padded to the corner and curled up as tight as she possibly could, never wanting to meet anyone, only wanting shelter.
A tear almost escaped her eye but she held it back, being an outcast in every way even to the worst creatures alive was just horrid, no one ever even spoke to her without rude comments hurting her in every way and laughing at how pathetic she was.
Maybe this time this'll be different. She thought, though her conscience told her It won't be, it never is...What's the point? just run, the tiger most likely doesn't want you here...Run! Though, she didin't listen this time, it was too cold outside...She lied there in the corner, rolled in a ball, covered in snow, and fighting with her conscience over what to do.

Ahlo could here faint, incredibly faint, scuffling below where she smelt this newcomer. After a few moments of the scratching noise, it ceased. The smell did too, for the white tiger could not pick up the fragile scent in the bitter winds anymore. Was this tiger hiding...from her? She was just a weak, pathetic piece of scraps. No one ever seemed to fear Ahlo. She was the one who did all the fearing.
The tigress stretched her paws out and let her claws slide on the stone, leaving chalky white marks where her thorns had raked through. She shook her fur and stumbled to her feet. She didn't want anyone to be terrified of her. Maybe they could be friends if she made the first move. But again, she wasn't looking at other possibilities. Maybe the tiger just simply left, or was trying to lure her into a trap. She sighed, not knowing if she should lay back down, or not.
After a bit of mental fighting, Ahlo decided to pursue the mysterious tiger and try to greet her kindly...That didn't mean the other tiger would return the favor, but it was worth a shot anyway. Every chance needed to be taken, or Ahlo would never be anyone's close friend. She was just to paranoid most of the time to defend herself, or pursue exactly what she wanted. And other times...she just wasn't with it. But she wasn't backing out know.
Leaping from the rock, her large feet gave a *bump!* as they hit the ground. She walked about three paces and stopped dead. Was she about to chicken out now? Just try to forget about the tiger, and not take her chances at being sneered and glowered at? She stared at the ground. Maybe she would just climb up to be at a safe distance - no. Ahlo wasn't giving up now.
She resumed her pace more vigorously, jumping from rock to rock, and then slowing as she clambered down the mountain clumsily. She desperately hoped the tiger would not run away at her sound, sight, or smell, so she continued more silently this time.
Ahlo paused and let her paw dangle in mid-air, pricking her ears, widening her eyes, and trying to catch the female's scent again. Please don't leave. she begged in her mind, searching for the location of the hidden animal. She wanted the tiger to leave so she had a good excuse to quit, but then she didn't because she wanted to accomplish something.
She waited expectingly, wondering if now the tiger would emerge from her hideout...

Oceanic Orbs stared at the white tiger or should she say tigress in fear. Hackles went up though, she seemed what she thought was invisable to the tigress infront of her.
Maybe if I close my eyes she'll disappear like if I open my dreams during a nightmare...I except the ones I live... Her thoughts were grim but, soon left her Snow pelted her freezing shield of snow that had covered her completely except to eye holes which were now barely visable and hard to see out of.
Orbs closed her eyes as tight as possible, hoping either she became invisable or the other tigress would give up, both of them worked fine to her. If only my life wasn't a living nightmare...I don't care if it was only a bit better, it'd feel as though atleast my ife was a nightmare if it was the tiniest bit better...The tiniest... She sighed, though shutting her mouth as soon as she noticed the other tigress was there and looking, for her.

Ahlo tilted her head to the side once more. The tigress didn't appear to be coming out. She had never thought she looked ferocious. Was this tiger little? Too small to defend herself? No. That didn't seem right. She smelt adult like...at least that's what Ahlo thought. What ever would that tiger have to hide?
White tiger leaned forward, letting her eyes wander about the crevice where the female was hiding. Was the other tiger seeing her correctly? Maybe she looked mean from afar. If that was so, maybe she could just make some eye contact, and let her see...
Her fear started to engage again. What if she's just playing me? I should just leave, and not take any chances. Better be safe than sorry! Her mind tried to convince her. It was some use, but not much. Ahlo was not allowing herself to go now, no matter how much her body pulled herself in the other direction!
As she started her gait once more, she caught sight of the sky. It was so blue, so intense...The white tigress was captivated by its brilliance. Her mind started to slip away into mindless day-dreams like it so often did. Ahlo forgot about the whole situation in a split instant, and wasn't even aware of it. She was off in another world now.
She saw rabbits flying through the air on silver clouds, and grasshoppers eating snow out of a hollowed out steak bone...Her world had no common sense, no reality, or anything alike the real world. Ahlo was in her world so often, she often mixed it up with her true life.
The other tigress could take this time to escape, but Ahlo wasn't even thinking about it. She was long gone in her head...
