Name:
Ahlo
Alias:
Close friends (which she seems to lack) sometimes call her 'Lo'
Species and Breed:
Tiger, White
Gender:
Female
Age:
3 years
Family Members:
None.
Date of Birth:
April 11, 2004
Loner or in a Family Group:
Loner at the moment
Mental Description:
In Ahlo's mind, everything seems to enter her thoughts quite calmly. Unlike others who panic when danger is sensed, she tries to think about all the possible outcomes, and what they can do to get out of a situation.
Ahlo also seems to get off track as well. As focused as her mind can be, it can be unfocused too. She can slip off into her own little dream land for hours at a time, oblivious to everything, and everyone, no matter how much others can shake and yell at her.
When someone insults her, which happens quite often because she's so different, in her head, Ahlo tries hard to push it aside. She doesn't like for things to bother her, for when it does, it can upset her much, because she is very emotional as well.
Overall, Ahlo's mind has many different parts, and some are still waiting for her to uncover them.
Physical Description:
For a tiger, Ahlo is actually quite bony. She was never one of the stronger ones. In a battle, she can fight averagely, but never as strong as others. But yet again, she never really was the fighting type.
On top of being bony, Ahlo has a lot of flabby skin, and a skinny body. It almost looks like she is underfed, but she eats quite well really. Some think it is a birth side effect, but Ahlo doesn't really know for sure, and doesn't really care.
Appearance:
Ahlo is a bit different compared to your average White Tiger. Though she has the same facial looks, she's a bit off color. The stripes on a tiger that are supposed to be black, looks like a dusky gray on her, which makes the rest of her fur look much more white than it really is.
Ahlo's fur is also quite shiny if you look at it right. In the light, she looks like she's a live light bulb, but it the dark, her fur is as dull as ever, and she almost blends in with the shadows. It almost makes her kind of eerie looking.
Though her fur-length is about as average as most tigers, her paws are not. Her paws are one of the sources of name-calling toward Ahlo. They're abnormally large, even for an adult tiger. It makes her stand out when she's in a crowd, but normally she's never around anyone because of her oddities.
History:
Ahlo vaguely remembers much about her past life. It's such a fast blur that she can hardly tell one thing from another. Although the only thing that is clear to her is that she was adopted by two Siberian tigers at a very young age. She has no idea what happened to her parents, if she had any siblings, or anything like that at all. In fact, she never paid it much attention.
Sample RP:
Ahlo slid through a narrow gap between two icy boulders of The Peaks. The sun was out, but the sparkling rays covering the walls of the mountain did not seem to reach her, so it was quite chilly where she was.
She glanced around the scene and fluffed out her fur as much as possible, trying to keep warm. Hopefully she wouldn't run into someone out here. Ahlo came here quite frequently and hadn't seen anyone yet, but you never know. The only spot where she had spotted other tigers was at the tippy top of The Peaks...but she didn't know if any polar bears or wolves lived around here. Ahlo wasn't ready for a battle if one came her way.
Crouching down, she lept upon a rock several feet higher than she, and landed with a loud thud from her big feet. Some snow that had settled on the edge of the boulder toppled to the ground as she stabled herself.
The tigress padded to the center of the flattened but rough surface and lay down in a few inches of snow. This was her 'out of reality spot'. Since Ahlo had no other commitments, not many friends, and overall not much to do, she made the long hike up here every day, and sat down on the same rock. She would think of everything except things that were real. Kind of like putting everything true aside, and just calming her mind down.
She twisted so that she lay down on her side and stared at the long climb up the mountain. Ahlo couldn't see, nor scent a thing, for the winds were whistling and the flurries overhead blinded her.
For the first time in a long while, Ahlo didn't know what to think about besides the real world. Everything was changing so fast with The Silent War settling down. But everyone was still on their toes, and seemed to jump whenever anyone moved. It was hard to adjust too, and how could she not think about it?
Ahlo sighed and turned her head so she looked down. She must have climbed at least four hundred feet...but that was just her guess. And The Peaks itself were...oh who knows? A couple thousand feet or so? She wasn't even halfway to the top. Ahlo couldn't imagine living at the cold tops with the other tigers. Actually, she couldn't imagine living with tigers at all.
Blinking, she then closed her eyes. If she couldn't think about her dreams while she was conscious, maybe she could avoid reality for a bit by sleeping through it...
